The Apex Classic allows players to enjoy breathtaking vintage Strat tone – rich with detail and with bell-like chime, but without the hum.

From stage to studio, our twin coil design allows for the natural movement of the strings to be unimpeded. The Apex Classic doesn’t have the harsh, nasal sound of many other hum-cancelling pickups. This breakthrough design delivers superb tone, even in the hard to recreate ”quack” positions (2 and 4).

Made for Easy Installation

Each Apex Classic is just 0.8inches (20mm) tall, allowing for easy installation on guitars with vintage or modern pickup cavities without any routing required.  In a first for hum-cancelling pickups, the Apex Classic uses standard sized Strat covers – you’ll have the option to use original Fender covers, or Tonerider’s nylon covers in a range of colours.

Latex tubing and two sets of #6/32 screws are: Panhead for modern pickguards and countersunk for vintage pickguards.

All Apex Classic pickups are wax potted to avoid feedback.
