ES-355TDSV was the top-of-the-line version of the 300 series, after the 335 and the 345. Only 198 each of 355TDSV`s were produced in 1967. This one is very much played, but taken care, also. Varitone selector has been switched to mono. Out-of- phase at middle position. The neck is straight, smoothly adjustable and the guitar` s got all the playability you can dream of. The nut is 40mm wide. Original Waffle back tuning machines and Maestro Vibrola. Original Pat.No. pickups.Original ABR-1 bridge and Maestro Vibrola tailpiece. 2 patent number pickups -out-of-phase at middle position. This guitar has a one-piece mahogany neck with long neck tenon. New frets, original nut with a shim. Few body binding cracks fixed. Celluloid pickguards`s got a typical hole, but it` s got plate beneath to avoid further cracking. No cracks in woods or neck repairs. Awesome well balanced tone. Excellent condition original case with Gibson emblem.
