A two-piece select alder body wears a Journeyman Relic lacquer finish, while the tinted rift-sawn maple neck features a comfortable ’60-style “oval C” profile, with a prototypical flat-laminated maple fingerboard. The three-ply mint green pickguard hosts a set of uniquely calibrated master design hand-wound Bone Tone pickups, which provide dynamic Strat tone with increased headroom and clarity when playing with overdrive. A five-way switch leads to Strat “1/2 blender” wiring, which lets players blend the neck pickup with the bridge pickup in switch positions 1 and 2. Other features include 7.25”-9.5” vintage compound fingerboard radius, 21 narrow tall frets, Custom Shop vintage synchronized tremolo, vintage-style tuning machines, bone nut, and “wing” string tree with metal spacer.
